In 2022, Aurora — a developer of self-driving technology for cars and trucks — hosted an Analyst and Investor Day to report its progress. With its sights set on leading the future of autonomous transportation and having already secured over $2 billion in funding, Aurora aimed to further boost its investments by providing a comprehensive report on the company’s health and strategic direction.
To truly grasp the value of Aurora’s advancements, we knew that investors had to experience the future firsthand. So, we devised an event centered around a "show, don’t tell" approach, putting investors and analysts behind the wheel of Aurora-equipped trucks for hour-long autonomous driving journeys.
Our team executed the future-forward event at one of Aurora’s main trucking hubs in Palmer, Texas — bringing Aurora’s test lab into an immersive space for guests.
On the agenda: presentations from executives, endorsements from third-party partners, a visual diagram of progress thus far and a detailed roadmap for the future.
But this wasn’t just about seeing vehicles and technology on display. Following the presentations, attendees got to step inside an Aurora semi-truck to actually experience the company’s autonomous vehicle technology.
A total of 26 analysts made the journey to attend the investor day and experience demo rides, while an additional 1,500 individuals joined the event remotely.
